Facebook’s new design on IE6 - Doesn’t Exist

My buddy Brian went to view the new Facebook design on IE6 on his computer at work. The problem, it won’t load! He got a funny message from Facebook telling him that they are not cool enough to support his browser. Check out the photo he grabbed with his phone and sent to me. I had to share this, because it means that either Facebook needs to become backwards compatible with their new design or he just needs to upgrade his browser

What are your thoughts?
Cheers!

Nov 17, 2008 - 02:11:13i think this is a great step in the right direction. Just like php4, we need to just move forward and just ditch the old technology. Being a developer myself, i cringe at the thought of having to test under ie6. With a big company like Facebook dropping the support for ie6 is like a sweet christmas gift for us developers. The trend will be followed.
