Twitter? Hello? Are you there?
Posted on: May 20, 2008 at 6:11 pm | Posted under: Technology, TwitterI left work around 1:30 today and it is now after 6. Twitter has been up and down and I just want to know what’s going on!
What caused the outage? Did Scoble break it?
Twhirl sure is showing me some funky code, never have seen this before, so I guess things are bad.
Ok, guess I will go interact with people in real life now.
Cheers!

Remember the song that Alana Taylor wrote and sang about Twitter? Of course you do.
Well, now you can remind yourself of that catchy tune with the brand new “Twitter Song Tee”. This beautifully designed shirt is available at the Eat. Sleep. Tweet. store.
I encourage all of you to head over there and purchase one today!
Cheers!

The all new Eat. Sleep. Tweet. (Tweet Tees) Online Store
Posted on: May 12, 2008 at 5:55 am | Posted under: Technology, Tweet Tees, TwitterTags: ecommerce, Shopify, Tweet Tees, Twitter
Well as you may remember back on May 1, I wrote about how I had worked with Albert [@iAlbert] to setup the Eat. Sleep. Tweet. store using osCommerce. Well, after the store was up and running, things took a downward spiral pretty quickly. Orders would show up in PayPal, but nothing would exist in the database. Buyers that had setup accounts to purchase items were not seeing previous orders in their account, and on top of this - Albert had to contact the buyers after the sale to find out what shirt they ordered (this data is not passed along to PayPal).
So, after much deliberation and looking around, he decided to go with an online store powered by Shopify. I spent the better part of Saturday night and Sunday modding out a template that leverages Lightbox and some AJAX-y goodness. The end result is a an online store that is more flexible and with a provider that we can rely upon.
I urge you all to check out the store, located at: store.eatsleeptweet.com. The main domain of eatsleeptweet.com will eventually provide the public with more information about the company, contain a blog, and offer information about how internet show hosts can partner with Eat. Sleep. Tweet. for giveaways.
As for me, I will continue to help Albert get the word out about the store and the work he is doing.
There are some big product launches on the horizon, so be sure to follow @TweetTees on Twitter to know what’s going.
Cheers!
Twhirl’s Latest Update
Posted on: May 9, 2008 at 9:45 am | Posted under: Technology, TwitterTags: air, friendfeed, twhirl, Twitter
So twhirl updated their application once again. I must say that things have been improving with the AIR application. I am still planning on writing a post about it, I just have been so busy with my income-based jobs that I have not had the chance to sit down and write.
Ok, back to twhirl.
The application now works with FriendFeed, which is awesome. I do not have to worry about AlertThingy anymore and can just use this one app to handle both services. I have only one complaint, each service runs in a separate window! I would love to see twhirl have tabs for each service that will allow me to just have one window open.
So twhirl, please considering adding a tab functionality to your next update. I love your application, make it easier and better for me!
Do you have any thoughts on twhirl’s latest update?
Cheers!
The NEW Tweet Tees Site!
Posted on: May 1, 2008 at 9:03 am | Posted under: Technology, Tweet Tees, TwitterTags: ecommerce, Tweet Tees, Twitter
Over the past week I have been working with Albert (Twitter: iAlbert & TweetTees) on a store for his Tweet Tees. Last night I made some DNS changes and as of 5:30 this morning - the new site is live!

I encourage all of you Twitterholics to head over to eatsleeptweet.com and order a shirt. The prices are very reasonable and Albert is always working on new designs.
As for me, I think I will be hibernating after I finish another project that I have lined up.
Cheers!
Please note that there are some final tweaks being made, if you see any problems, contact us!
