Feed My Inbox – an alternative to FeedBurner
Posted on: June 8, 2009 at 11:41 am | Posted under: Blog, TechnologyTags: email, feeds, RSS, subscriptions | Comments: View Comments
With the ever growing list of issues that FeedBurner has been having, it is great to see an alternative option emerge for people to subscribe to RSS feeds via email. That alternative is Feed My Inbox.
Feed My Inbox is simple, just input the RSS feed that you want to subscribe to and enter your email address. You then receive a confirmation email and you are all set! Additionally, you can create a signup form so that users can subscribe from your site and readers can easily add feeds by using the browser bookmarklet.
At this time there is no stats option available for publishers, this is something that is expected to be added in the future.
I encourage you to check out the site, whether you are a reader or a publisher, Feed My Inbox is worth a try if you are looking to have feeds sent to your email.
Cheers!
Calling it quits with FeedBurner

It just never ends with FeedBurner, that is why I am calling it quits. The service is unreliable and the reporting is just horrible anymore.
For those of you that were subscribing through my FeedBurner URL, please use this URL: http://blog.jacobburke.com/feed/
Cheers!
