My favorite Twitter app: Tweetie
Posted on: April 26, 2009 at 3:21 pm | Posted under: Technology, TwitterTags: apps, atebits, iPhone, Tweetie | Comments: 6 Comments »

Ever since I got an iPhone I have found it easier to stay connected. One of the best apps for keeping me connected to Twitter is Tweetie.
At first I was hesitant to pay for an app that I knew nothing about. This atebits company didn’t have a desktop app, so I was unsure as what to expect from them. After jumping around in the forums and asking some questions of my own, I knew that I had to get this program. My friends were surprised that I paid for an app, because I am cheapskate :)
I have to say that Tweetie has paid off for me. The best feature of the program is that I can run multiple accounts in the app. That has been helpful, since there are four Twitter accounts that I manage.
Last month I told Albert (@iAlbert) about the program, because he was managing his Twitter accounts with different programs on his iPhone. I told him that the app was $2.99 and management of multiple accounts was simple. He has been using the app and loves it, sure beats all of those others apps he had installed!
There are other great aspects of Tweetie too. The multiple display options for viewing the timeline (my preference is dark), the abililty to save drafts for posting later, and the ever-funny poopularity enhancer. If you are a fan of the fart apps, you will like the popularity enhancer.
With the launch of Tweetie for Mac and all of the rave reviews about it, it seems that atebits has made using Twitter that much more simple and fun with these great apps.
Cheers!
WordPress 1.2 for iPhone finally out!

WordPress 1.2 for the iPhone is finally available. It has been a long time coming since the last update to the software. I am thrilled with this new release, as it will allow for page editing and comment moderation from within the app. Additionally, the landscape keyboard is available for writing those posts on the go :)
Cheers to WordPress!
3G finally here to stay…
Posted on: January 18, 2009 at 9:18 pm | Posted under: TechnologyTags: 3G, AT&T, coverage, iPhone | Comments: 2 Comments »
For the past few days I have noticed that my iPhone has not been switching back over to an EDGE connection once I lock it. It looks as though AT&T has finally upgraded the local cellular towers with a stable 3G data connection.
I have not gone all over town to see how well the coverage is, I work from a home office and it has been downright COLD the past few days for me to venture out. I will be heading out this week to my normal spots to see if the signal is stable in those places.
All I have to say is that it is about time AT&T. You promised 3G at the beginning of November, then by the end of 2008. I am hoping that this is it, no more teasing!
I will be sure to update this post with my findings on the 3G coverage in my area.
Cheers!
