PicLens Working on Firefox 3
Posted on: May 27, 2008 at 12:25 am | Posted under: TechnologyTags: extensions, firefox 3, photos, piclens | Comments: Comments
I am happy to see that PicLens is now working on Firefox 3 RC1. I was very bummed when I upgrade to Firefox 3 and a majority of my extensions were not compatible. I am happy to see that extension developers are working on making upgrades and providing users an ever better browser experience. I encourage those of you that do not know about PicLens to take a look at their site and try out the plugin. It makes for a great photo viewing experience.
Back to work for me, reports don’t write themselves :(
Cheers!

I was catching up on my RSS reading this morning and watched the latest episodes of GeekBriefTV. On the brief, Cali talked about PicLens. The video she showed looked interesting, so I decided to check out the site and download the Firefox plugin.

The above video gives you a taste of what PicLens is. I love being able to view photos in a 3D format, and they even have a WordPress plugin available. I have a screenshot of the app over on Flickr as I was looking at some photos.
So, go check out PicLens. It will change the way you look at viewing your photos online.
