What Happened to May?

june1 The month of May has come and gone in the blink of an eye.  I am trying to figure out where all the time has gone and what I have accomplished this month.  Most of my time has been spent working, I am happy to be getting a steady paycheck again and not living off of my savings.

The month started off with the launch of the Tweet Tees online store.  I then started work at La Tourelle Resort & Spa as the Internet Marketing Manager.  I am now happy to announce that I am working with the Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance on a part-time basis doing a variety of web & graphic work.  This past month has really been fruitful for me, and I couldn’t be happier.

In addition to work, I have made myself more visible online.  I feel that this is key to my networking strategies and future business opportunities.

I think the biggest thing of all that has happened online (for me) during the month of May was the continual downtime of Twitter.  I had a big rant all ready to record on Viddler, but I have decided to hold off for now.  Frankly, I am more pissed with Steve Gillmor thinking that he knows everything and keeps bashing FriendFeed.  The man doesn’t even know how to use a proper @ reply on Twitter.  Just my two cents!

Ok, well May has been great and it’s over now.  June brings hope and opportunity with it, maybe we will see Twitter become stabilized and Steve Gillmor finally stop bitching.

Cheers!

Bad Blogging

iJustine’s most recent blog post talks about her being a ‘bad blogger’.  I must agree with her that I too am a bad blogger.  Right now I have three drafts sitting in the sidebar of Windows Live Writer, and about eight different topics that will result in about 20 posts sitting on a scrap piece of paper.

So, I think it is time I start getting around to doing a bit more blogging.  My friends that read my blog enjoy my writing and many of them use it as a resource for products and software (they are living in the dark ages).

Are you a bad blogger?

Cheers!
